UNASA award 2013

Piero Toscano, researcher at IBIMET-CNR, has been awarded the “UNASA award 2013” in the area “Agronomy and extensive and vegetable crops and fruit species” for the article “Durum wheat modeling: The Delphi system, 11 years of observations in Italy” published in 2012 in the European Journal of Agronomy (Europ J of Agronomy 43 (2012) 108-118). Open Fields’ Roberto Ranieri is co-author of this article. The study represents an interesting example of application of crop modeling to better plan the wheat purchase strategy.
